Fringeworthy

(Mishka via Sniff)

Fringe is making its due comeback, and I could barely muster will the will to resist these adorable Mishka shoes -handmade in Argentina with limited North American distribution. They’re like small pets for your feet, with neat fine fringe and a prim rosette; the vamp is scantily low cut revealing tons of cleav. Nothing vulgar, and the pumps are actually quite demure and better looking than the uninspired stock product shot would lead one to believe. Mishka is available at Billie in Montreal and probably few other places.

    sweet 🙂

There is a ludicrously expensive but exquisitely fringed bag making the rounds on arms of celebrities- not sure who made it, but I want one.

I haven’t been able to get into the fridge craze so far but these are so well done! And love toe clev.

  3. i had a pretty serious conversation about stevie nick’s style during lunch the other day. lunch friend said, “when i think of stevie nicks i think of fringe.” i don’t know…when i think of stevie i think of how cute lindsay used to be in those tight high waisted bell bottoms ala 1977. but back to the point…would stevie nicks really rock these when she’s singing leather and lace?

probably not. too hoity-toity. aside from fringe on handbags and footwear, i’ve has heavy discussion on the concept of fringe on clothing…one-piecers to be exact. ha! everyone seems to be pretty opinionated on the topic of fringed clothes, it’s a polarizer for sure.
